A year later, Kik added a report button

It’s taken an entire year, but Kik’s streaming platform has been updated with a feature that many believe will be one of the site’s first observations — a report button. Since going live a year ago, Kick.com has faced numerous controversies and scandals, often fueled by racist, sexist and downright misogynistic communities and channels.

Right now it’s in a huge slump, viewership is dwindling, and despite some amazing events — like one streamer landing 800,000 peak viewers — it’s losing relevance across all social platforms.

But now there’s a report button, so that’s something.

That’s right – a whole year

Although it was added to the platform on October 6, ‘Kik Support’ on Twitter did not notify users of the change until October 16. A simple tweet highlighted that users can now report streams that violate Kik’s ‘community guidelines’.

Before this change was made, the only way to report malicious streams was to report them Email Kick.com And provide enough information for them to consider your claim. Because Kick.com was built in 2005 or something.

In a strange way A twist to the updateKik stressed in the change notes that the platform ‘can become rowdy’ and highlighted that users who want ‘complete control over their environment at all times’ will have a tough time on Kik.

Are you still using Kik as a creator or viewer?
