Alternate Tekken 8 character outfits from the upcoming beta test have leaked online

All Tekken 8 characters have closets full of alternate outfits to enhance their charm. The upcoming beta will include most of these outfits. But as is the usual norm in the gaming industry, all the alternate costumes have already been leaked online. The dataminer Ultraboy on Twitter shared the beta test outfits – most of which haven’t been officially shown – and quells some of our quibbles with certain default character designs.

Kazuya’s alternate choices look particularly striking, making him look as menacing as possible in both a shirtless costume and a formal suit. Some nostalgic outfits are unfortunately not returning in Tekken 8’s closed beta test, such as Hwoarang’s open taekwondo outfit. Asuka is also missing her classic outfit, so players suspect that the final release of the game will feature an even wider selection of alternate outfits.

The Tekken community was also in an uproar when The Paul Phoenix trailer has dropped; His hairstyle and choice of design caused A lot of commotion among some players. Regardless, the alternate costume outfits do solve this dilemma by providing different hairstyles. There could be many characters whose default outfits weren’t aesthetic enough for some of us, but the alternate choices come with different color schemes and changes.

The Tekken 8 closed beta test is planned from October 20 To October 23. It should bring more features than the closed network test, such as cross-play on all platforms, matchmaking and communication with other users in the Fight Tekken Lounge, and more. With the Tekken franchise recently climbing the 50 million mark in sales, Bandai Namco is looking to push the boundaries of Tekken’s entry with the upcoming sequel. The developers will bring a “full package” experience to the table with some nostalgic features like Tekken Ball mode. Additionally, Tekken 8 will incorporate a larger story mode than its predecessor.

Tekken 8 is due out on Friday, January 26, 2024for PC and current-gen consoles, including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, we can’t expect to enjoy the entry on last-gen platforms, likely due to hardware limitations.
