Black Myth: Wukong won’t be on Xbox at launch

While many expected Black Myth: Wukong to be on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it releases on August 20th, it will no longer be. Instead, Black Myth: Wukong was only available on PC and PS5 when it first released.

The game was originally confirmed for the Xbox Series X|S at the Game Awards 2023. However, after releasing a new trailer at Summer Game Fest 2024, the Xbox version The game was reversed.

“PC and PS5 users can enjoy the full game starting August 20, 2024,” developer Game Science says in its “Pre-Order FAQ”.. “We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards, so it will not be released simultaneously with other platforms.

“We apologize for the delay and aim to reduce the wait for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as per our quality standards,” he said.

As of the Xbox release date, it has not been confirmed by the company. Also, there is no indication of the release date.
