Black Ops 6 is only days away from its reveal by Activision Blizzard, and the leaks are coming thick and fast. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been drip-fed content regarding Black Ops 6 – this year’s installment of Call of Duty – and on June 9, the game’s core premise and multiplayer are set to be fully revealed.

In the latest leak, it is claimed that Black Ops 6 will launch with a theater mode, which has not been seen in a mainline Call of Duty title since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War.

In 2010, Black Ops was released globally with an innovative new feature called ‘Theatre Mode’ and changed the Call of Duty content creation scene forever. With Theater Mode, players can tap into recordings of their recent matches and tweak them to their heart’s content, creating mini-movies and montages with a few button presses.

Recently posted a leak via BobNetworkUK on TwitterA reliable Call of Duty leaker, Black Ops 6 claims theater mode will return. This makes sense as the last Call of Duty title to feature the iconic mode was Black Ops Cold War – the most recent game to do so. Black Ops sub-series.

Not only does this mean content creators are going to shut up, but the short game is going to be rampant, on-platform clip sharing may be a thing, and cheaters will be much easier to spot by getting players with slick gaming chairs and the ability to view from the perspective of gamers.
