For Call of Duty fans, it’s a serious time – The Haunting kicks off the game for another year and gamers around the world are scared out of their skin by the violent images that threaten to jump clean off their screens, leaving them wondering and a little squeamish.

However, not everyone is happy with the addition of jumpscares – despite it being a Halloween themed event. They’re reportedly louder and more aggressive than before, and strangely, there’s no in-game option to turn them off – so, it’s a case of like it or freeze it.

They are effective, at least

Admittedly, jumpscares promise they will, right? They’re likely to be tweaked in the coming days, though – while many players have been complaining about how loud they are, some users claim they themselves deafness.

In a comment, A user wrote, before talking about a rumor that a ‘grandmother’ died after seeing a jumpscare at a previous haunting event, saying ‘It’s so loud it’s unnecessary. Another one User wrote‘This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.’

It has become a health problem For a redditor‘Whenever I open the box I turn off my headphones to protect my hearing,’ he said.

what do you think Are you annoyed by the sudden arrival of jumpscares or do you love it?
