Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero may feature split-screen multiplayer for up to 2 players.

According to the latest revelations, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero could be the true Budokai Tenkaichi successor we’ve been waiting for. Found by PlayStation Store Listing for the game, it was found that players will be offered 2 types of multiplayer experiences, online and offline.

Both multiplayer modes allow up to 2 players. The offline mode may offer a split-screen option, similar to what we’ve seen in previous titles. It could be a mistake on their part, but we hope it isn’t.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Revealed at The Game Awards 2023 The developers promise to bring players an improvement on the iconic gameplay of the iconic Budokai Tenkaichi series while adding new characters and maps to the roster. Moreover, the game features fast-paced battles, story and characters from the late Akira Toriyama’s iconic anime series.

From the gameplay trailer that has already been released, it is clear that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s combat mechanics, visuals, and authenticity have been greatly enhanced.

Since then, we’ve received a handful of trailers on the game, showcasing the different characters and unique movesets we can expect to see. Recently, Bandai Namco released the Fused Warriors trailer, featuring characters like Gogeta, Vegito, Gotenks, Kefla, and Fused Zamasu. Furthermore, a recent leak revealed that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero might have an Ultimate Edition. With more details on pre-orders and release date coming to Summer Game Fest 2024.
