EA Iron Man game to use Unreal Engine 5

EA Motive has announced that the upcoming Iron Man game will be built using Unreal Engine 5. Through this comes the announcement An update post From Motive General Manager Patrick Klaus.

“We’re still early in pre-production and taking our time to make sure we’ve set the best possible foundation for development.” Klaus said. “But already, we’re finding so many opportunities to explore story, design and gameplay with Iron Man, and it’s exciting to see the fantasy come to life.

“Even early in the process, we formed a community council of Iron Man and Marvel fans; with Dead Space, they provide feedback on pretty much everything in the development process. Meanwhile, we chose Unreal Engine 5 as our game engine to let the dev team work their magic and create something truly unique.

EA’s Iron Man game was first announced back in September 2022. Since then, there hasn’t been much in terms of updates. However, now with the studio’s focus on the game, that should change.
