If you are one of those television series binge watchers, the recent hit Fallout TV series, you might have questions about the ending. It leaves a lot to the imagination and a little too much to hype. But what does it all mean? The Fallout TV series finale is detailed here, but beware of major spoilers ahead!

What is the Fallout TV series finale?

Again, beware of spoilers from here on out! In the Fallout TV series finale, after Lucy finally meets her father Hank and learns of his role in the nuclear bombing of California, he once again escapes into the wasteland. This time, he’s riding around in stolen T-60 power armor courtesy of Maximus.

The ghoul lets it slip that he’s on the run and looking for the person responsible but never reveals the name. If you’re a longtime fan, you can guess who they’re talking about by the ending scene.

Speaking of the closing scene, we cut to Hank gliding towards a city in the desert. It’s still a long way off, but you can make out the Strat Tower that is Las Vegas. Also, if you stick around for the closing credits, you’ll notice the New Vegas Strip with billboards for The Topps Hotel and Casino and The Lucky 38 Casino.

Ring-a-ding-ding, baby!

What’s next for Fallout?

As someone who grew up playing Fallout and is now much older, with less free time overall, it’s exciting to see a franchise I adore so much expand its new media. When I don’t have time to play a game, I can watch an episode of a live-action video game adaptation series instead. I never want to miss Fallout!

But what’s next for the franchise? In another post, we discussed the possibility of Fallout Season 2 and when it will premiere. However, the games stalled after the release of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. We’re expecting an anniversary update for Fallout 4, additional content for Fallout 76, remasters for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, and more. About Fallout 5.

Bethesda Game Studios and Xbox double down on this huge boost in popularity for the Fallout franchise. After all, they want to capitalize on the enormous sales opportunities they currently have in merchandising.
