Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is finally available on Steam, marking another PlayStation-exclusive title coming to PC platforms worldwide. It received a relatively positive reception, more than its security 57,000 maximum concurrent players And narrowly edging out Horizon Zero Dawn, the first PlayStation game introduced to Steam a few years ago.

However, the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on PC was no walk in the park, as many players reported some teething issues.

Finding the balance

Ghost of Tsushima is doing well enough on PC, receiving positive reviews – but some users are experiencing some annoying issues that are regretting their purchase. On Steam, users have reported crashes and connection issues, and while the former problem is thought to be tied to specific hardware configurations, the connection issues are in part linked to a PSN account dispute.

Aside from addressing the successful launch of Sucker Punch Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, nothing else has been said by the company, leaving some users wondering if they will ‘detect’ the issues.

Ghost of Tsushima fans were shocked when Ubisoft recently revealed Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, which on the surface has many similar mechanics and elements when compared to Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima may have done very well at launch, as the new trailer for AC Shadows has got gamers excited to experience the samurai-based adventure – something they’ve been getting in droves in Ghost of Tsushima.
