Crytek’s long-running PvEvP extraction shooter Hunting: Exposure Finally getting a major engine overhaul, including proper PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. The big update will be dropped on August 15th.Th And with it port CRYENGINE 5.11, along with performance improvements for PC, a redesigned user experience, and a new map.

In the coming weeks, Crytek will engage the Hunt: Showdown community with surveys, sneak peeks at upgrades, the evolution of the Hunter recruitment and prestige system, and more. The one big caveat to this much-needed upgrade is that support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will end. As a goodwill gesture, Crytek will offer existing owners of the game a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox series versions.

It’s been a while since I’ve played Hunt: Showdown, but there’s something really compelling about its gameplay loop. I guess we’ll have to start asking, “Can it run Hunt: Showdown?”, starting August 15th.Th.
