Looks like Call of Duty is gearing up for a Deadpool and Wolverine collab

July 1, 2024 by No Comments

One of the most anticipated movies of 2024 is set to release this month, and it looks like Call of Duty is looking to capitalize on that hype. Deadpool and Wolverine hit theaters on July 26, and we’ll see the action heroes descend on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile.

As noted dot esportsA user called Crashfty Recently X (formerly Twitter) has posted some strange videos of verbal reminiscences of our beloved Merc. The videos show off the new finisher moves for Call of Duty, with stock models showing off the scenes. Interestingly, the scenes depicted show one person killing another in a very stupid and hilarious way, which is what Deadpool looks so good at. On the other hand, Wolverine is not represented in any of the scenes.

Marvel collaborations are a no-brainer for games, and Fortnite is the biggest example. Moreover, Deadpool and Wolverine’s collaboration is an important event, as it not only marks the return of Hugh Jackman to don the super suit, but also helps revive the recently declining Marvel Cinematic Universe. Call of Duty’s next seasonal update seems like the best window to introduce this collaboration, as it will debut around the same time as the film’s July 24 release date.

In other news, Call of Duty’s Fallout update went live last week. What do you think about Deadpool and Wolverine coming to the Call of Duty games? Let us know in the comments.
