Lords of the Fallen Best Class: Stats, Comparison & Tips

October 17, 2023 by No Comments

Lords of the Fallen has been released, and the Crusaders should be ready to begin the journey in Axiom and Umbral. Lords of the Fallen Best Class can be hard to choose as there are a total of nine classes. While a veteran Soulsborne genre player might not have much trouble, choosing a class for beginners would be really hard.

Key Takeaways

  • There are a total of 13 classes in Lords of the Fallen, among which four are secret ones.
  • The nine classes are ranked in accordance with their worth.
  • Best one is Paristan, as it has the perfect points allocation and a variety of weapons.
  • A disadvantage of Paristan would be the armor and the melee weapon, as they are not the best.
  • Hallowed Knight is also the best choice as it is an excellent, well-rounded class.
  • The only problem Hallowed Knight has is that it doesn’t have much agility in Lords of the Fallen.

Best Classes In Lords of the Fallen

Here is the overview of the best classes in Lords of the Fallen, along with their stats:

Class Strength Agility Endurance Vitality Radiance Inferno
Paristan 13 12 12 12 8 8
Hallowed Knight 12 8 15 11 9 8
Blackfeather Ranger 11 13 11 10 8 8
Mournstead Infantry 12 14 12 11 8 8
Exlied Stalker 9 16 11 11 8 8
Orian Preacher 10 8 9 11 18 8
Udirangar Warwolf 16 10 13 10 8 8
Pyric Cultist 9 8 11 9 8 18
Condemned 9 9 9 9 9 9

9- Condemned

CONDEMNED STATS VALUE
Strength 9
Agility 9
Endurance 9
Vitality 9
Radiance 9
Inferno 9

Condemned is arguably the worst class, not just for the beginners but overall, in Lords of the Fallen. I would not recommend you pick Condemned, as it has the worst stats among all the other classes. Codemned starts with absolutely nothing except for an armor set and a bucket. All stats are also at nine, so if you choose it, you would be at a huge disadvantage from the start.

The wooden bucket you get as a weapon is almost useless against the enemies. You also get some throwing stones, which won’t do much. So, defeating the tutorial boss with Condemned could be a torture no one would want to face. You can, of course, find different weapons, but they might have a higher stat requirement.

When I first saw the class, I instantly knew it was going to be a disaster if I picked it. Do not pick Condemned as your class if you are playing Lods of the Fallen for the first time.

8- Pyric Cultist

PYRIC CULTIST STATS VALUE
Strength 9
Agility 8
Endurance 11
Vitality 9
Radiance 8
Inferno 18

I personally don’t like magic builds in any Soulsbourne or Soulslike game, but that is not the reason why Pyric Cultist is the second-worst class in-game. While it is nothing close to being the Lord of the Fallen Best Class, it is surely not the worst. It is a mage class whose main focus is on dealing with damage, as the most leveled-up stat is Inferno.

I don’t think Pyric Cultist is even among the Lords of the Fallen best class for beginners. While it can deal a lot of damage in the early game, it might become trouble for you later on. The class is majorly focused on dealing with damage, which is why the rest of the stats have very low points.

So, you might get one shot from the first boss, who comes really early in Lords of the Fallen. Even with the best class, it could be hard to beat her instantly, so using Pyric Cultist would be troublesome.

7- Udirangar Warwolf

UDIRANGAR WARWOLF STATS VALUE
Strength 16
Agility 10
Endurance 13
Vitality 10
Radiance 8
Inferno 8

While the name Udirangar Warwolf is a little intimidating, the class is not that intimidating in the battle. It is a great class, with most points being in Strength. It makes it a high-damage class, but it is not ideal to start Lords of the Fallen for the first time. If you have played games from a similar genre before, then sure, you can use Udirangar Warwolf as a class.

I also liked the experience with it, as I have played almost every game from a similar genre. However, if you are not that much familiar with such games, then I would not recommend you to choose Udirangar Warwolf. The reason alone for it to be ranked low in my list as the class should be welcoming to newcomers.

If you master it, then it can be one of the best classes, but doing so can take time. The high-strength stat might be tempting to many, but it is more like a trap, as the Udirangar Warwolf class is all about doing huge damage with big swings.

6- Orian Preacher

ORIAN PREACHER STATS VALUE
Strength 10
Agility 8
Endurance 9
Vitality 11
Radiance 18
Inferno 8

While Orian Preacher can be a good class if played correctly, it is definitely not the best class. As said before, I don’t like mage classes, but that is not the reason why Orian Preacher is ranked low. While it can be a good class for beginners, it makes the experience a little boring. The mostly focus for Orian Preacher is on Radiance, which allows you to deal more damage.

However, the rest of the stats are really low, which might force you to do some farming before fighting the first boss. You don’t have to worry about strength and agility when it comes to Orian Preacher, as most hits will be done from long range. Radiant spells are good in Lords of the Fallen as they can be used as an offense as well as a defense.

If you want to choose Orian Preacher, then make sure to allocate some points to endurance in vitality first. There are some places where the same type of enemies are present in large quantities, so that might become troublesome for you given that Orian Preacher has really low Endurance and Vitality.

5- Exiled Stalker

EXILED STALKER STATS VALUE
Strength 9
Agility 16
Endurance 11
Vitality 11
Radiance 8
Inferno 8

Exlied Stalker is a class for players who are looking to play a little bit faster than other classes. The class is arguably one of the best-looking or probably the best-looking in-game. I really liked the looks of it, but it falls behind the stats tremendously. The main focus of Exiled Stalker is on Agility, so you are really lacking Strength, meaning the damage would be less.

If you are looking for a somewhat challenging run from the start, then I would recommend you choose it. The play style of Exiled Stalker is really cool, as it is the thing I like the most. That being said, the low damage is a problem, but that can be solved but allocating more points in Strength at the start. Make sure to allocate some points in Vitality, too, for some extra health. However, the damage would still not be sufficient enough for the first boss.

4- Mournstead Infantry

MOURNSTEAD INFANTRY STATS VALUE
Strength 12
Agility 14
Endurance 12
Vitality 11
Radiance 8
Inferno 8

Mournstead Infantry is for those who don’t like mage builds but still try to play a little safe. You have a spear and a shield as starting weapons, so you can poke the opponents while also defending yourself. The stats distribution is not the best, but it is also not the worst. You get enough Strength, Agility, and Endurance in the start, so the main focus should be on allocating points to Vitality.

I prefer Exiled Stalker more than Mournstead Infantry due to my personal preference. However, Mournstead Infantry is better due to its stats points, armor set, and weapons.  While the class is pretty good for a beginner, it is not the best one and definitely not the best-looking one.

However, if you are going to choose it, then I would recommend getting another cool spear so you could dual-wield the weapon. By doing so, you will have more fun, as dual-wielding allows your character to do some great combos.

3- Blackfeather Ranger

BLACKFEATHER RANGER STATS VALUE
Strength 11
Agility 13
Endurance 11
Vitality 10
Radiance 8
Inferno 8

Blackfeather Ranger is a great all-rounder class that can be great for beginners in Lords of the Fallen. It is arguably a great class, and I really loved it. The looks are pleasing, too, but it just doesn’t have the best stats. There should be more points in Vitality and Strength; then it would have been way better.

However, with the current points allocation, it does stand out as one of the best classes in Lords of the Fallen. It comes with a great armor set, which can be pretty useful in the early game. I am more fan of a sword and katana-type weapon, but the axe that comes with Blackfeather Ranger is great, too.

While I still think Exiled Stalker looks the best among all, Blackfeather Ranger does look like the most badass one. On top of that, it is an all-rounder class. So, if you want to choose it, then you should, but the next two ones on the list are even better. So, make sure to have a look at them before choosing any.

2- Hallowed Knight

HALLOWED KNIGHT STATS VALUE
Strength 12
Agility 8
Endurance 15
Vitality 11
Radiance 9
Inferno 8

Hallowed Knight is arguably one of the most badass-looking and best classes. It can be the best choice as a class for beginners in Lords of the Fallen, as the allocation of points is pretty good. On top of that, the armor, weapons, and starting items you get with it are pretty good, too. It was a really tough decision for me to decide between Hallowed Knight and Partisan for the top spot, but I’ll have to give it to Partisan, which I will explain.

I personally played the most with Hallowed Knight, as it was a really great experience. I didn’t have much trouble with the tutorial boss and instantly defeated him (only in the first phase) with parries and some heavy strikes. So, the main point is if you pick the Hallowed Knight Class, then you won’t regret it. It is a really good, well-rounded class with little to no flaws.

You get a Hallowed Knight Armor Set, a Hallowed Knight Sword, and a Hallowed Knight Shield as offensive and defensive gears

1- Partisan

PARTISAN STATS VALUE
Strength 13
Agility 12
Endurance 12
Vitality 12
Radiance 8
Inferno 8

Patrisan takes the throne of being the best class in Lords of the Fallen for normal players and beginners. While it is not the best-looking one, it is the most balanced class in-game. You can always buy different armor sets to make your character look later in Lords of the Fallen. The armor is just not good-looking; for defense, it is pretty good, especially against the first boss.

The weapons it comes with are a flail, crossbow, and a shield. So you can fight in close range and even in the long range. Partisan gives you freedom over deciding which way you want to take your character, except for the magic build. The points allocation is really good for Partisan, so if you are looking for a good experience as a beginner, then you can choose it.

However, I would recommend choosing Hallowed Knight as a class if it is your first playing a game soulslike game

Which Class Is The Best – My Thoughts

I personally think Hallowed Knight is the best class you can select due to its gear and stats allocation. You can select any you want, but I had the best experience with Hallowed Knight. While I liked the gameplay of Exiled Stalker the most, along with the appearance, I still think Hallowed Knight is best. At first, I simply wielded the Hallowed sword in both hands and destroyed a bunch of mobs.

Honestly, I didn’t have trouble with the first boss. It might be because I am a veteran in such games. However, the class definitely played an important role. You can choose the Mage class, too, if you like them.

That’s almost everything you would want to know about the Lords of the Fallen Best Class. While all the classes are not worth your time, there are some that definitely deserve to be chosen. Hallowed Knight, Partisan, and Exiled Stalker are my pick for the best ones. You can select any based on your preference so you can have more fun. If you prefer a mage class, then go for Orian Preacher and build it accordingly for some massive damage. I don’t think Pyric Cultist is worth going for, even as a mage class, so ignore it.

While you are at it, you should check out the best starting classes in Lords of the Fallen so you can also get a  better idea of which class is best suited for you in the early game. After that, make sure to read the guide on Skyrest Bridge Key in Lords of the Fallen for its location and rewards. You can also check out what other players are choosing as their class at Steam Community.
