It looks like NFL fans are going to get a double-dose of big news this week. Along with League’s scheduled release, Madden 25 looks set for a reveal.

According to reliable Data Minter Bilbil-kunEA Sports is set to reveal Madden 25 on Thursday, May 16. The game will be released on August 16 with four days of early access starting August 12.

As for the game, Bilbil-kun said it will include a reworked physics engine among other updates. Updates to the game this year — such as improvements to Franchise and Superstar mode — will be part of the May 16 reveal, along with pricing and different editions of the game.

The game’s cover athlete will not be revealed during the opening announcement, the report said.

“Unlike last year’s first announcement of Madden NFL 24, we believe the identity of the player on the game’s cover will be revealed at a later stage,” the report said.

One feature to look forward to this year is the addition of new broadcasters. Current commentator Charles Davis revealed that Madden 25 will feature multiple announce teams for the first time in December 2023.

Madden 25 will be the second game of the same name. Back in 2013, EA Sports celebrated the franchise’s 25th anniversary by renaming Madden 14 to Madden 25.
