Redfall is set to get one last update before work is completely finished.

In a message Posted on Twitter On Friday, the game’s official account thanked fans for their support since it was announced that developer Arcane Austin was one of the four studios Microsoft was shutting down.

The message revealed some of the features included in the last update, including a promised offline mode that will allow players to play even after Microsoft shuts down game servers in the future.

“We’re working on releasing our final update, Game Update 4, which brings revamped Neighborhood and Nest systems, single-player pausing, an offline mode, and more,” the Twitter post reads. “We will provide additional details soon. Thank you all.”

When Arcane Austin was first announced to be shutting down, the studio said there would be no more updates to the game. Based on the pushback from players, it seems clear that the best thing to do is to finally release an update to ensure that players continue to play the game now and in the future.
