According to A new post From Geoff Keighley on Twitter/X, the world premiere gameplay trailer for Slitterhead will debut at Summer Game Fest 2024.

Slitter Head is an upcoming game from Keichiro Toyama and Boke Game Studio. Toyama has been an industry giant for decades, and fans widely credit him for creating Silent Hill.

Bokeh Game Studio first announced Slitterhead during the Game Awards 2021 A very brief teaser trailer.

Aside from the dev diary containing some pre-alpha user testing, there have been very few significant updates since then. The devs posted that video in July 2023, showing more horror and potential combat mechanics.

The previous Slitterhead trailer had small glimpses of gameplay, but it was mostly cinematic. It kept an aura of mystery and suspense throughout.

In fact, there isn’t even a trailer description with small details, sometimes it’s a big reveal. However, the teaser mentions that Slitterhead will have music by Akira Yamayoka.

At this time, Keiichiro Toyama and Bokeh Game Studio have not confirmed a release window or date for Slitterhead. Summer Game Fest is an excellent opportunity to confirm the release window, even if the date is not exact.

Slitterhead joins several other anticipated titles at Summer Game Fest 2024, which will feature at least 2 hours of game showcases. The event starts on June 7, 2024 at 5 pm EST / 10 pm GMT.
