Sony confirms PlayStation Days Play returns on May 29, 2024

in a Official blog Today, Sony announced that PlayStation Days of Play 2024 is coming up on May 29, featuring new discounts and activities.

Today’s blog confirms that Days of Play will run from “May 29 at 12:01 PM to June 12 at 11:59 PM local time in each region.”

PlayStation players get access to new, celebratory avatars during Days of Play. Sony also announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for June and bonus titles for the game catalog and more.

Some of the highlights include Star Wars: The Clone Wars for PS2 and Dredge for PS4 and PS5 on the first day of the event. Next, the definitive edition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming on June 7 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Some of the Days of Play activities include a community challenge, new stars campaigns and an esports tournament.

The announcement confirms a recent report by DeLabs, which stated that the event will return on May 29. DeLabs also mentioned some discounts and PlayStation announced some significant sales today.

Sony is offering $50 off the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Additionally, the PlayStation VR2 will be $100 off. However, a March report suggested that Sony had paused production of the PS VR2 because the device wasn’t selling well enough.

Between May 29 and June 9, fans can save “up to 30% on a 12-month membership plan” for PlayStation Plus.

Other Days of Play 2024 deals include discounts on key titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Rise of the Ronin and more.
