Over the past year, Apple has been playing with increasingly ambitious games on iPhone and iPad devices. We’ve seen the likes of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Death Stranding and Resident Evil Village make their way to the latest Apple devices, and it was just revealed at the company’s WWDC conference. Loads AAA titles are set to enter the lineup in the coming months.

Games, games, games

An image shared online, captured during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, shows a long line-up of games, all of which are soon to be introduced to the iPhone and iPad ecosystem. Here’s a snapshot list of what was confirmed a few moments ago:

  • Dead Island 2
  • Sniper Elite 4
  • Wuthering Waves
  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows
  • control
  • Paulworld
  • Resident Evil 7
  • Riven
  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
  • Walheim
  • World of Warcraft: The War Within
  • Frostpunk 2
  • Resident Evil 2
  • Robocop

It is widely believed that this is only the tip of the iceberg. The assumption is that as Apple’s technology continues to grow, the list of top titles launching in the iOS Store will skyrocket.

The most surprising thing is that something like Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch later this year and is set to be one of the most anticipated titles in the franchise so far. It is not confirmed if it will be available on iPhone and iPad on day one, but it is very possible.
