Tarkov Event Live Now based on community feedback

Battlestate Games has launched a new event in Escape from Tarkov, basing the event’s parameters on community feedback received on social media platforms. For the past few days, Nikita Buyanov, head of studio at Battlestate, has been fielding suggestions and ideas from the community, who were quite disappointed when BSG revealed recent controversial changes to the game.

The New Tarkov event was an experiment

On Twitter, Written by Battlestate Games:

As an experiment, we’ve removed the “found in raid” requirement for placing offers on the Flea Market for both PvP and PvE modes. We will closely monitor player feedback during the event and make additional balancing adjustments if necessary.

In the latest round of changes, now live in-game, Battlestate has tweaked loot balancing (based on feedback) and increased the chance of rare loot spawning in some areas. They also adjusted inertial strength and increased the overweight limit, allowing users to pick up more loot without suffering the consequences.

Furthermore, BSG has increased scaven spawns in the interchange to make certain tasks easier, and tweaked the mechanics of the flea market to give players more ‘selling slots’.

Finally, the Lab is now free to enter, with BSG removing the prior requirement that players have a Labs keycard before entering this rewarding, intense map.

On social media channels, players have already reacted positively to these changes, but many noted that this should be standard and not an exclusive, limited-time offer to the community.
