In a shocking turn of events, the man who disrupted several Nintendo events has admitted his actions. Oatmealdome On Twitter, the 27-year-old admitted to sending threats to Nintendo out of frustration with the games. The prosecution is seeking a jail term of at least one year for the culprit.

According to Kansai Television News, Kenshin Kazama admitted to sending threats to Nintendo at a trial on June 26, 2024. He tried to justify his actions by explaining that he sent the messages when he was stressed and upset about losing the game. – Now that’s stupid.

Kazama sent 39 threats to Nintendo between August and November 2023, including “I will kill everyone involved. Be careful of events with spectators,” which led to the cancellation of many events and disrupted Nintendo’s business.

Kazama suffered a loss of ¥700 million, or about $4.3 million, according to the prosecution. They called the situation “serious” and “no room for sympathy for the child’s motive”. The prosecution requested at least one year in prison so that Kazama would learn from his actions. The final verdict will be announced on July 24, 2024.
