Blubber Team is looking for a new publisher for its newly announced survival horror game, called Project C, after Take-Two Interactive’s private arm reportedly terminated its publishing deal with the studio.

As first noted MauroNL on Twitter, cancellation terms are being negotiated. The Bloober team is also looking for another publisher for the game, which is expected to be a brand new IP from the Polish studio.

The contract between Bluber’s team and the private division was re-signed in September 2021. According to MauroNL, that agreement included an option to terminate without cause for the private division.

The cancellation comes amid announced plans by Take-Two Interactive to cancel multiple games.

As of publication, neither Take-Two Interactive nor the Blubber team have commented on the cancellation. Insider Gaming has reached out to both parties for comment. If a response is received, it will be added to this article.

Currently, Blubber’s team is working on the remake of Silent Hill 2, which is expected to release in 2024.
