Undisputed Boxing heads to consoles in October

Undisputed Boxing is heading to consoles in October. Developer Announced by Steel City Interactive (SCI). Controversy will launch version 1.0 on October 11, 2024 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 (PS5).

When it was released, Undisputed was the first simulation boxing game to hit the console since Fight Night Champion in 2011.

The game offers a standard edition and a deluxe WBC edition. Those who purchase the WBC Edition get access to the following:

  • The Fighters Pack: Jaime Munguia, Regis Progress, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, Dimitri Bivol, Caleb Plant, and Julio Cesar Chavez, each alternate ring attire.
  • Clothing Pack: Alternate ring attire for Claressa Shields, Canelo Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk, Katie Taylor, Tyson Fury and Amir Khan.
  • Eras Pack: Three young fighter versions – Tyson Fury ’09, Canelo Alvarez ’11, and Muhammad Ali ’64.

If you purchase the physical deluxe WBC edition you will also receive the WBC patch.

In an interview with Insider Gaming in February, SCI CEO Ash Habib talked about the game’s development and its focus on a console release after launching the career mode in beta for those on PC.

“We are fully focused on the development of our console” Habib said at that time. “We’re going through that process right now to get us to that version one launch on consoles. Launching a game on Steam or PC platforms is a whole different ballgame when it comes to consoles, so we’re currently navigating that path.

Additionally there is a game release, SCI, on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 Reworking many gameplay elements To add to the realistic feel of the game and how the fighters move and act in the ring.

Those who pre-order the game for console will get access to Roy Jones Jr. ’93.
