When are older Call of Duty games coming to Game Pass?
After the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft, no one was surprised when it was announced that many previous titles would be coming to Game Pass. Diablo 4 is just the beginning, and it’s a great start among the most downloaded and played games on the service. But it’s more time. It’s time for Call of Duty on Game Pass. More specifically, past titles!
Are Past Call of Duty Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
As previously revealed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one, meaning subscribers can jump straight into the first-person shooter alongside everyone else who didn’t receive Early Access. Of course, this is the most recent Call of Duty. What about past titles?
As of now, there is zero confirmation as to when Call of Duty will launch on Xbox Game Pass outside of the upcoming Black Ops 6. But this is likely to happen. A recent report suggests that several of Activision’s fan-favorite titles will begin hitting Xbox Game Pass in August.
At this point, it’s only a matter of time!

Which Call of Duty titles could hit Xbox Game Pass?
Personally, I don’t see Xbox launching every single Call of Duty game on Xbox Game Pass. Could I be wrong? Absolutely! I want to be wrong here and wake up one morning to an announcement that Xbox is bringing every single title, even the Big Red One, to Xbox Game Pass! For now, we can dream and plan. Here are the Call of Duty games that may eventually end the subscription service:
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- The call to duty of modern warfare
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Call of Duty: Cold War
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Call of Duty: Vanguard
I don’t want to replay Ghosts, Cold War or Modern Warfare on Game Pass!
