The best-kept secret in gaming has been confirmed as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coming to Xbox Game Pass. An official announcement has been made to this effect Via Xbox Wire Tuesday morning.

“We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members can get into Call of Duty┬«: Black Ops 6 with Game Pass on Day One,” said Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead, Xbox Game Pass.

Black Ops 6 is the first game in the franchise to be added to the service after Microsoft completes its $69 billion purchase of Activision in October 2023. There is no mention of other Call of Duty games coming to Game Pass. Also not mentioned are any changes to Xbox Game Pass pricing and/or tiers, which are expected to come with the addition of the series.

Along with the announcement, a new live action trailer for the game was released.

Xbox will hold a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct event on June 9 following its Xbox Games presentation. That event is when fans are expected to get a full deep dive into what the latest game in the long-running franchise has to offer.
